Hi loves! So I was going through my computer the other day and realized I never posted this skirt! My mom and my brother traveled all over China this past summer for work, but fit in some time for fun too! My mom spoke at some seminars and my brother was actually on a panel at a seminar too; they asked him all sorts of questions about what it’s like living in America, from the foods we eat to what an American date would consist of haha! While my mom and brother were there they were able to see all sorts of things. My mom bought me this skirt from the Silk District in Shaoxing, China. She said the designers lived in private boutiques located directly over their studio so they could design whenever they wanted! After talking with some of the designers (with their translator of course haha) she learned that fashion is really important to the women in the urban cities of China, they like to focus on feminine and playful styles most like this skirt; I think the bow on the waistband adds the cutest touch!
Unfortunately, you can’t order my skirt online, but you can click on the links above for similar skirts! One even has a bow!
Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
