Damage Control: How Pantene’s Nutrient Blends Collection Helped Save My Dry Hair

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pantene. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hey There! Glad you popped by! It’s been a minute since I talked about my hair care routine and things have changed! I chopped my hair and went even more blonde! As you can imagine, going blonder does have it’s cons and I could tell my hair was getting dryer, more damaged and throw in hanging at the beach a little more often into the mix, I could tell the sun was making it a little more brittle. Luckily, I started using Pantene’s Nutrient Blends collection- specifically: the Fortifying Damage Repair with Castor Oil shampoo and conditioner. Both have castor oil, are sulphate free, intensely strengthen your hair and leave you with a frizz free & smooth blow out after use! I have found my hair is so silky smooth in the shower and can tell how much stronger my hair is in between wash days! They both smell great too! I love using a hair product that I know is doing good for my hair, strengthening it and isn’t filled with all of those “yucky” ingredients.

As for my “hair schedule” I typically wash it every 2-3 days. I found that I could actually go longer in between washes when I had really long hair. For some reason with my shorter hair, I feel like I need to wash it more. I still take a shower every night, don’t worry! I always follow up with my nightly skincare routine too! That usually consists of a toner, retinol and a night cream! Sometimes I’ll throw in an exfoliating scrub and mask! In between my wash days, I like to use a dry shampoo and Pantene’s Dry Conditioner Mist from their Waterless Collection! You may remember when I introduced this product to my routine back in THIS post a few months ago! I’ll talk a little more about this product further down in the post, but I have found that the Pantene Nutrient Blends Collection and Pantene Waterless Collection work great together!  They are the ultimate haircare duo during wash and non-wash days.

Between Wash Days

Like I said above, I usually go about 2-3 days between wash days. Sometimes longer, sometimes sooner, but I always use a dry shampoo and Pantene’s Dry Conditioning Mist on my non-wash days! This mist first of all, smells SO GOOD. It’s a really lightweight mist so it doesn’t leave your hair feeling wet, tacky or stiff. It simply smooths your hair and brings it back to life! I find that it helps with the frizziness on really humid days! Sometimes I’ll focus on my ends and spray the bottom of my ponytail if I’m wearing it up for the day! I get a smooth, bouncy pony out of it! Pantene’s Conditioning Mist is really affordable and it’s a fairly small product too so you could easily throw it in your purse for a quick touch up through-out the day!

I’m curious what your hair care routine is! Have you tried the Fortifying Damage Repair with Castor Oil yet? What about the Mist Behaving Dry Conditioning Mist?
